I’m an IT professional based in Suva, Fiji, currently working as an Acting Assistant System Support (AASSO) at Ministry of Lands & Mineral Resources Fiji with the Ministry of Lands & Mineral Resources, supporting critical government operations across multiple offices.I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems from University of the South Pacific and an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology, majoring in Cybersecurity from Australian College of Business Intelligence, Australia), and I’m commencing my Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems (PGDIS) at FNU in 2026. I’ve also started building my cybersecurity foundations, including Fortinet NSE 1 – Introduction to the Threat Landscape, along with other cyber awareness and short courses.In my current role, I work hands-on with:IT infrastructure & support – desktops, laptops, printers, UPS, and peripheralsNetworks & systems – GovNet domain, connectivity issues, patching and basic troubleshootingUser support & training – helping staff resolve issues quickly, explaining technical concepts in simple languageDocumentation & process – maintaining IT logs, inventory, and structured reports to keep work trackable and accountableI enjoy solving real problems for real people, keeping systems stable, and continuously improving how IT services are delivered in a government environment. My career goal is to grow into more advanced roles in systems administration, cybersecurity, or information systems management, contributing to secure and modern digital services in Fiji.I’m always open to connecting with IT, cybersecurity, and digital transformation professionals in Fiji and beyond — whether for opportunities, collaboration, or knowledge sharing.
